Desert Noise
Coachella 2009 is a short 11 weeks away. Lineups were finally announced this morning at coachella.com.
Tickets are $269 for a 3-day pass so feel free to put those on layaway.
In the meantime, I’ll be studying this list of 120 acts (and counting) to figure out this year’s “must-sees.” The headliners are rarely the reason to spend 72 hours in the desert and this year is no exception.
But the typical smorgasbord of indie up-and-comers plus Leonard Cohen (!) means that 50,000+ people a day are guaranteed a perfect start to their concert summer.
