Keepin’ calm and carryin’ on

Leave it to the Brits to get to the heart of the matter. Straightforward, simple, and to the point.

“Keep Calm and Carry On.” That sounds just about perfect.

The Chicago Tribune provides insight into this great story of how the poster commissioned by the British Ministry of Information in 1939 has become the must-have motto for shoppers looking for inspiration in these trying times.

I dig it. Seriously. Even despite the fact that David Beckham reportedly has the T-shirt.

And, just because I can – here is a completely gratuitous clip of Kansas performing “Carry On Wayward Son” from 1976. Truly amazing on so many levels. What did we ever do without YouTube?
