Vlad’s been delivering the goods
Ever seen or read an interview with Vladimir Guerrero? It’s hard to imagine in this day and age that a surefire Hall of Famer could enjoy a career with such anonymity, but the media-shy Vlad continues to fly under-the-radar.
And while the limited English-speaking skills of the veteran superstar of the Los Angeles Angels have kept his amazing career unnoticed by most, odds are pretty good that he’s perfectly content without all of the attention.
Meanwhile, his performance in this year’s playoffs has been quietly redemptive for the 35-year old slugger who has certainly heard the whispers about his theoretically declining skills.
